C-mount adapters from the MAGUS brand are used to connect a camera with a microscope. Each adapter model has its own magnification, and so you should select it based on the characteristics of your camera’s sensor. The CMT050 model with 0.5x magnification is designed for cameras with a sensor size of 1/3"–1/2": This will provide the widest and clearest field of view. The adapter is recommended for MAGUS camera models CBF12, CDF10, CHD10, CHD20, and CHD30.

To install the camera in the eyepiece tube, you will need the C-mount adapter and an adapter ring. The ring connects to the microscope, and the C-mount adapter with a fixed camera is inserted in it.
