Nevystavujte zariadenie vlhkosti, vode ani extrémnym teplotám – hrozí poškodenie alebo úraz elektrickým prúdom. Pri modeloch s osvetlením (LED/halogén) nepozerajte priamo do zdroja svetla – môže dôjsť k poškodeniu zraku. Nikdy nesmerujte mikroskop (najmä so zrkadlom alebo silným svetlom) na Slnko – riziko trvalého poškodenia zraku. Používajte iba originálne napájacie adaptéry a príslušenstvo odporúčané výrobcom. Pred čistením alebo údržbou odpojte zariadenie od elektrickej siete. Manipulujte opatrne so sklenenými časťami (šošovky, preparáty) – riziko poranenia. Uchovávajte mimo dosahu malých detí bez dozoru – niektoré časti môžu byť malé alebo ostré. Pri práci s chemickými preparátmi dodržiavajte zásady bezpečnosti (rukavice, vetranie). Zariadenie nerozoberajte – opravy prenechajte autorizovanému servisu.

The resolution limit of a 20х/0.40 objective is 0.69μm. Chromatic aberrations are corrected for blue and red, spherical aberration – for green, and the field curvature is corrected for 90% of the field of view diameter.

The objective is designed for the infinity-corrected tube length. The parfocal distance is 45mm. When a 10x/20 mm eyepiece is used, the diameter of the field of view is 1mm. The objective is designed to be used with specimens with 0.17mm coverslips.

The lower limit of the microscope’s useful magnification, when a 20x objective is used, is 200x. Lower magnification does not allow you to distinguish the details of the specimen whose image is formed by the objective. The upper limit of the useful magnification, when a 20x objective is used, is 400x. Higher magnification is considered “useless” as it provides no new detail in the image of the sample. With the 20x/0.40 objective, use the eyepieces with magnifications from 10x to 20x.

Plan achromatic objectives form an image that has the same focus in the center and at the edges and, therefore, the distortion is negligible. This strength is used for digital imaging and for combining them with wide-field eyepieces with a 20mm field of view.

The objective is suitable for studying the structural details of the specimens from 1µm in size in a large field of view, e.g. for analyzing clean catch urine samples.
